
Conditions
Payment
1. Quotation is subject to alteration without notice after 30 days of quotation date.
2. Payment is required in full, not later than seven days from the date of receipt of the account for whole or any part thereof for which an account is rendered. If not paid within seven days, debt collection costs in full shall be added to the account.

3. When erecting a dividing fence between two (or more) neighbors, and the adjoining party has not given a written approval to the contractor, then the client will bear the full cost of the work.
4. If quotation is cancelled by the client after an acceptance, a minimum charge of $90.00 will be payable for accounting, bookkeeping and search fees with additional costs applied for service and materials ordered allocated at our discretion.
5. Any search fees (charged by council) for ownership of neighboring properties will be charged to the client.
6. All permits shall be supplied and payable by the client, unless prior arrangement is made.
7. The materials remain the property of the contractor, and no property shall pass to the client whatsoever until account is paid in full. The contractor may re-enter the premises to retrieve all stock not paid for in full.
Contract
1. No alterations or instructions will be recognized unless specified in writing prior to the commencement of fencing. All specific conditions, requirements (of the client) are to be noted and subject to the acceptance of the contractor.
2. We reserve the right to terminate the contract without charge at any time.
3. No claims will be accepted unless in writing and received within seven days of completion of job.
4. It is not always possible to take exact measurements at the time of quotation. There could be a slight variation between the price quoted and invoice price as we charge for actual length of the fence that has been erected.
Site Conditions
1. A minimum working space of 600 mm is required on both sides of the fence line. Unless otherwise stated it will be the clients responsibility to provide all the necessary cleaning and grading along any fence line, either proposed or existing.
2. The cost of fencing contained in the quotation may be increased should rock, limestone, tree roots, underground pipes, foundations, concrete or any other impervious substance beneath the surface be encountered during the course of erection of the fences.
3. All off cut material and cleaning up of such along completed fence line remains the sole responsibility of the client.
4. All care will be taken of any shrubbery/construction/items along the fence line and workable area but no responsibility shall be accepted by the contractor.
5. If concrete is broken out for fence posts it is the client's responsibility to make good.
6. No responsibility accepted for damage to underground services such as water pipes, gas pipes, electric cables, telstra cables, sewerage etc. Client to have all such services clearly marked prior to fence erection.
7. The supply of power and water is the sole responsibility of the client. If no power is supplied the cost of hiring a generator will be charged as an extra cost to the client.
Fence Positioning
1. Survey pegs or markers must be clearly visible and are the responsibility of the client to provide in their correct position before fencing is erected.
2. The fence shall be constructed with the side the palings face at the discretion of the contractor. Where 600mm of clear space is not provided on paling side due to garage/shed wall, palings may be reversed for that section. If client chooses a different direction to that which the contractor considers most suitable, additional charges will apply if further work or lost time is incurred.
3. The baseline of the completed fence shall be at the discretion of the contractor. Generally, fencing is built to the contours of the ground and is not always level at the top. Fence heights may vary in relation to undulations of the land and gaps may appear under the plinth board. If client wants such gaps filled in, it will be an extra cost to the client.
4. All heights will be measured from the bottom of the plinth to the fop of the fence.
Quality
1. Fence material is fencing grade and has no guarantee against splitting, warping or shrinkage of timbers. As timber is a natural product, knots and gum veins should not necessarily be considered defects.
2. Timber is treated and as such may be colored accordingly till treatment fades
3. There is no guarantee against loosening of posts due to excessive winds or excavation near fence line.
